B-town beauty and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned 38 on Tuesday.

Ash and Abhishek Bachchan, who got married in 2007, are expecting their first child and for the past couple of months she has been receiving lots of pampering from her nearer ones.

Father-in law Big B greeted his fans who wished Ash on her birthday.

"Show most energy draining of all ..exhausted and dull at the end of it ..but sufficiently bright to bring in Aishwarya's birthday," Big B tweeted.

"First off .. let me thank all of you that have wished Aishwarya for her birthday .. I shall pass on your greetings to her..gratitude," he remarked.

Last month, Aishwarya had a star-studded baby shower.

Among her recent films, it was 'Guzaarish' which attracted the attention of her fans who were surely charmed by Ash's performance in the movie where she played a nurse tending terminally bed-ridden Hritik Roshan.
