Reportedly, Rs 150 crore is being bet on when Baby B would be born; 11.11.11 seems to be bookies' favourite The arrival of the new member in the Bachchan family might also affect the fortunes of many others across the country.
The moment pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan announced the news of Ash's pregnancy, bookies across the country went on an overdrive speculating the sex of the child.
Now the focus seems to have shifted from the gender of the baby to the date of its birth. Not surprisingly, the maximum money is riding on the auspicious 11.11.11 (November 11, 2011).
Confirms a Mumbai-based bookie, "There are a lot of bets being placed on dates between November 9 and 14.
The money riding on it is at least 150 crores which may go up in the coming week. November 11 is the hot favourite amongst bookies. The second most speculated date is November 14, which is Children's Day."
Though Abhishek has denied rumours about Aishwarya planning a C-section for their child to be born on November 11, sources confirm that it is a date that could change the fortune of the child.
Says numerologist Sanjay Jumani, "If the kid is born on 11.11.11, then he/she will be governed by the moon and his birth number would be 2.
Many superstars in Bollywood have their birth number as 2 including Amitabh Bachchan (Oct 11), Shahrukh Khan (Nov 2), Ajay Devgn (April 2), Sanjay Dutt (July 29), Dilip Kumar (Dec 11), Rajesh Khanna (Dec 29) and many more. Also, with the moon being the planet with the maximum influence on the day, the kid's creative abilities would be much sharper.
Many musicians, actors and painters are ruled by the moon. On the flipside, the moon also has side effects, which can make the person very sensitive and moody."
It is expected that the Bachchans will continue evading the paparazzi from keeping a close eye on the developments at home.

Actors like Saira Banu, Asha Parekh and Dimple Kapadia, as well as designers like Neeta Lulla and Shaina NC made a beeline at the Bachchan household Jalsa here Tuesday for the grand baby shower of Aishwarya Rai.The Bandra house was decorated with flowers, and was packed with people in the afternoon.
Aishwarya is said to have worn an orange-coloured Indian ensemble for the occasion.
If guests are to be believed, she looked ethereal, with the glow of any mother-to-be on her face. The actress, married to Abhishek Bachchan, is eight months pregnant.
"Aishwarya was looking like a 'chand ka tukda'. She was looking beautiful. We wish Abhishek and Aishwarya all the best, " Saira Banu, who gifted Aishwarya a gold coin, told a news channel.
Choreographer Saroj Khan, who has made Aishwarya dance on songs like "Nimbooda", "Taal se taal mila" and "Barso re", shared some scenes from the Bachchan household.
"I have never seen so many celebrity women together. All the women went up to Aishwarya and blessed her. Jayaji received each guest personally and was very warm. Even her daughter, Shweta, gave personal attention to everyone. There were a lot of songs and celebration, " said Khan.
The veteran choreographer wasn't just praises for Aishwarya alone, but also for Abhishek, who wore a white sherwani style kurta. "Aishwarya looked pretty in orange. Her face had such a glow. She was decorated with mogra flowers. Even Abhishek looked extremely happy. God bless them both and may the child have a long life, " she added.
Make-up artist Mickey Contractor helped Aishwarya get ready for the special day.
Other guests included Urmila Matondkar, Twinkle Khanna, Sonali Bendre, Manyata Dutt, Ritu Nanda, Neetu Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Mana Shetty, Vaibhavi Merchant, Poonam Sinha, designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla and Karan Johar, among others.
Aishwarya's father-in-law, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, had revealed the news of her pregnancy through his Twitter account in June. The baby is due mid-November.
Director Rajamouli Clarifies On Item Song For Kajal Agarwal,s

Eega is an experimental movie by SS Rajamouli. The movie features Sudeep, Samantha and Nani in the lead roles.
